This audio production is intended to bring new technologies that impact our lives, like digital assets, central bank digital currencies and artificial intelligence in an easy to understand way to a larger audience.

In this episode, we discuss a world models and their impact on the road too AGI. World Models represent a shift in AI, focusing on deeper understanding of causality, environment, and planning rather than just pattern matching. These models create internal simulations to predict outcomes, adapt to new situations, and enhance efficiency. Unlike current Large Language Models (LLMs), which excel at prediction but struggle with reasoning and planning, World Models aim to address these limitations. Experts like Yann LeCun and Fei-Fei Li see them as key to achieving Artificial General Intelligence (AGI). While challenges remain in building robust, generalizable models and managing computational demands, research shows their transformative potential, especially in robotics and autonomous systems.
